Masterpieces in Motion review

A masterpiece in Motion is a special back-to-back ballet concert featuring Ballet Manila and Singapore Dance Theater. Ballet Manila is composed of 52 young and highly talented dancers steeped in the Vaganova tradition under the leadership of Lisa Macuja-Elizalde, the one and only Philippine based primaballerina. The Singapore Dance Theatre is composed of 24 dances under the leadership of Artistic Director, Janek Shergen.

The show was awesome. Many People watch the concert and it almost fill the whole Aliw Theatre and I think most of them enjoy the show. The dancers were so great. They dance so gracefully and artistic. I like the way their body moves which matches their facial expression. Both boys and girls dance as one. I like the Ballet Manila more than Singapore Dance Theater, maybe because they ere Filipino. All and all the show was so much entertaining.

Star City goers is treated to free ballet concerts on weekend nights as part of Ballet Manila's promise to bring ballet closer to the hearts of the masses.

Book Review :The Little Prince

Posted by Jen at 12:35 AM 0 comments
The Little Prince is a fascinating story of an aviator whose plane is forced down in the Sahara Desert and there meets a little prince who came from other planet .
When his plane crashes in the Sahara, he meets the Little Prince who introduces himself  and demands the pilot to draw him a sheep. Intrigued by this character and also curious of the outcome, the pilot soon engages in a friendship with the Little Prince, who begs to share his stories about his tiny planet with three volcanoes and his experiences while traveling to Earth.

This story made me realize the importance of friendship and love. Many of us forget that love and friendship matter the most and allow themselves to be consumed with things that are inconsequential .

The novelette describes how adults lack imagination. When the narrator draws a picture of a boa constrictor digesting an elephant, adults only see it as an odd-shaped hat.
This lack of imagination translates into adults who are unable to focus on the essentials of life and instead concentrate on the unnecessary .

Life without a friend is worthless.
